New living room. We got Dennis's parents old TV that had a broken on/off button. They were going to put it on the street. Nope I said I'll take it. I thought maybe I would get the button fixed. But I programmed my remote and it works perfect for $0.00. Yes. I got the Entertainment Center from my brother last year. I though I would of had a new TV sooner. We also took stuff out of the room and rearranged the furnature.

My birthday with my mom. I got some cool stuff. The dunce cap thing is the new dust buster. Its called the cone. I got a singing cat. Stuff from Pier one. Rock em sock em ornament that really works. A set of glasses and the scented oil with the sticks in side. Yay!

Thanksgiving at my Dads. The day i was really sick. I look crappy. But happy I was able to go.

I'm Back...and feel like butt

This was wrote on Wed. the 21st.

I am back to work finally. I didn't fall of the face of the earth. But I did have a very busy vacation. I wanted it that way.



Saturday: Got off of work and went to see Fred Clause, it was a funny movie, surprise to see so many little kids.



Sunday: My mom was making Chicken n Dumplings my favorite. So I went over there and ate way too much, but it was sooooo good.



Monday: Sarah was going to give me my birthday surprise. On our way to my gift it got cancelled. She was taking me to get my hair cut. So and second surprise was Mani's and Pedi's. Well I didn't shave my legs. So I went to my Dads and shaved my legs. He had no idea. We stopped for a Margarita at La Mex. Then off to Tips and Toes. All was good, I like the Massaging chair and I had a nice girl who was gentle with my feet. Only on problem. The nail guy cut into my pinky with the cutical cutters. Ouch!. Then we went to Texas Roadhouse in our pedi slippers. We didn't want to ruin our toes. Overall good Night.

Tuesday: Jacki and Jen Day. We went to the Comtemporary Art Museum in Chicago. Very different types of art. We got lucky and it was free addmission. We were able to drive and park right at the museum too. Then we walked to the Cheescake Factory. Best food. We got seated very quickly and it was great service. Jacki had never been there so it was fun taking her there. We did get Starbucks down a couple of blocks from the parking garage. A lot further than we expected. But I ran into a blind guy. I felt really bad. We got our coffees and went to a really cute nik nak shop and got dollar beaded braclets to have to show for our trip.

Wednesday: I woke up feeling crappy, this was supposed to be me and Dennis day. He had to see his parents and I was going to go if I didn't feel so crappy. I ran some errands and went to dinner with my dad and sister.

Thursday: I got my hair done in Mokena. Got it cut shorter so I can straighten it out. Had just enough time to run home change clothes to go to see Carlos Mencia at the Rialto with Darryl and Sarah. Me and Sarah had a couple of drinks at Jamesons.

Friday: My Birthday. Me and Dennis went to Traversoes an iltalian restuarant. We had their awesome bread and italian sausage and peppers. We got full off of that. And went to downtown Naperville for a couple of drinks. Naperville is a boring town. We came home and listened to tons of music. I was the DJ, we played music for hours.

Saturday: Me Sarah and Lindsay went to Chicago. To ice skate and eat at Cheesecake Factory, yes again. The ice skating thing didn't go over to well with Lindsay she wasn't getting it. We walked from Milleneum Park to the Hancock. It is a far walk, so we bundled up. We did have to wait forever to get a table but it was so worth it.
I get the Navajo, which is a grilled chicken on a deep fried flat bread. There is tomato, lettuce, onion, avacado, and a awesome sauce. It comes with fries which really weren't eaten. But I had cream of chicken soup to start and a Lemon Raspberry Cheescake at the end. So good. We were full. Shopped at the "seven layer mall" as I call it right next door. Didn't get out of the city until 10:00. Long day.

Sunday: My birthday with my mom. We had gifts and food at her house. We ate a recipe that Sarah found, It was chicken breast cut up with vegtables in a cream sauce baked with stuffing on the top. Very tasty. It was fun just being with family. We played a game after all of that was over. It was called "name that phrase" it was phrases from our past that are in music, movies, or just sayings. You have 5 balls and the phrase is spoken by the game out of order. You have to put the phrase in order by the balls. So the phrase Happy Dont be Worry now. You would put in order Dont worry be happy now. It definatley was a game of listening and memory. We got good at it toward the end. We found out we were playing the hard version.oops.

Monday: This was the day of my stamping meeting. I met up with Jacki and went to Charliehorse with Michelle "our upline" before the meeting. It was my birthday dinner. That was fun to chill out with them, then go to the meeting. Me and Jacki stayed after and left at 12:00 or 1:00 I can't remember. This is when I started feeling a little crappy. I had a headache the majority of the day, I thought nothing of it. But by the time I got home I knew I wasn't feeling too good. I took Sudafed before I went to bed to be safe.

Tuesday: YUK... woke up feeling shitty. Keep taking Sudafed and layed around most of the day. i did bundle up to go to walmart. we were out of everything. Made sure I had stuff for tea. Me and Dennis did go to Texas Roadhouse for an appetiser. It was okay. It didn't help that I was stuffy and runny. I took care of my cold for the rest of the night. Dreading going to work the next day.

Wednesday: Wow I woke up all stuffed up and out of medicine. So I took an Allegra. Not good idea. So I had a very raspy voice that only got worse as the day went on. I had my tea water and orange juice and didn't move from my seat if I didn't have to. I purposly stayed over to make up time for Thanksgiving. I wanted to get off at 3:00pm. So I leave sounding like a squeaky toy. Talk to my mom and she said stop taking the Allegra. It s stuffing you up. I was so congested in my nose and chest I couldn't take a deep breath. So at 11:00pm I went to walgreens to get some Mucinex. It has Guifeninsen in it which I needed badly. Now it 11:30 I need to eat I need to take care of my self and get to bed. I knew that I haven't felt this bad in a while. So I called Wes just to give him a heads up on me possibly calling in sick. Bad thing that it would be Thanksgiving.
Went to bed able to breath but didn't get much sleep.

Thursday: Wow again: I have no voice it was a whisper with squeaks here and there. I wasn't going anywhere. I felt like butt. So I had to call in work. Not happy about that. I need that money. I am now going to get screwed out of money. Oh well I need to figure out how to get better. my mom freaks me out making me think I should go to the ER, or Quickcare. I don't wanna. I needed to find out if I had a fever. I went into get better mode and constantly had water orange juice and tea by my side and I was downing them. I kept up on my medicine. A took a hot shower until the hot water went cold and stayed in the bathroom with the steam. Then heated up water in a pot and put vicks in the. Put a towel over my head and made a really hot vicks steam. It was kinda gross. Because it was in my mouth. Not too tasty. But I was bound and determined to go to Thanksgiving dinner at my dads. I put new Pjs on. Bundled up to the max and headed over. I took all of my antibacterial stuff so no one would get my cold. It was a good meal. We watched TV. i stayed in my corner of the couch with my scarf on.

Friday: Thought I would be feeling better, not so much still barely any voice, very horse, man voice as Lindsay puts it. I had to call in again. I needed more sleep and I knew I would only make myself worse if I went in. Layed around all day trying to get better.

Saturday: Came in still a sicko, but had to go over a couple times to the casino, not to bad. Starting to feel a little better.

Sunday: Was my moms Thanksgiving. Happy to be feeling better. Back to a raspy voice but now my nose was running. Had an awesome Dinner. Took good pics. and watched White Christmas.

Monday and Tuesday: really consisted of not much and not feeling to good. I was having horrible headaches. Very stressed and bored.

Wednesday: got out of the house and went to the new Target and out to eat at Johnny Rockets at the Promenade in Bolingbrook with the family. Oh and in between that I saved some Oscar fish of Sarah and Darryls the pump stopped working and they were gasping for air. So I cleaned the pump and they were happy little"huge" fish after that.

Today: Back to work, not to much going on and I am taking Sudafed to clear up my sinuses I still have a lingering blockage behind my nose. It runs down my throat inside of out my nose. Poopy. I have been writing this forever and I am so done with this.

I'd rather be sniffing candles...

I'm here counting down the time to 9:30 to put in my 12 hours. Jacki's mom is having a gold canyon candle party and I can't go because I have to make all of my time up for a full check. I have been trying to get better at not screwing myself out of money like I have done so well in the past.

My video here at work is running really slow but if I wait 80 freaking years for it to load I can watch it. I have two shows loading right now then I bounce back and forth between them. Murcie here at work is leaving me Mr. Brooks and In her Shoes for tomorrow.

Speaking of tomorrow I am going to Louies w/ Kim when I get off of work. So I will probably have to get ready here. It is nice of her to take me out. She feels bad that she didn't spend alot of time with me at her Halloween party.

The last couple of days have been working days for me at the casino. It makes the time fly.

I am sooo freaking excited that when i leave tomorrow I will be off for 10 days. Yes!!
I didn't take a vacation last year. So its been awhile. I have to remember to lock up the desk and make sure I take everything I need home.

I am going to work on a calender tomorrow for daily activites. I've been looking forward to this since I figured out I was going to have the vacation time. Wee well there will be more fun tomorrow.

Day with Mia and Jacki

On Monday I went to Jacki's house to hang out. We both didn't have anything to do. Usually we are always stamping or doing something stamping related, but not today.

We went to the weenie stand with Mia and it was good. Mia was funny there she was so hungry she wanted to eat the fries but they were too hot. She would stick them in her mouth then spit them back out.

Here she is couldn't possibly look any cuter. Jacki was trying to get her to smile and look over at me with the camera. This shot wasn't supposed to turn out but she must of smiled last minute. This will be my new work picture.

Mia wants to see her self in the camera. I can't believe how smart she is getting. Shes like a baby genius sometimes. She has a great teacher though. Her mommy.

So after weenie stand we went to the Scrapbook Junction, Jacki caught up with the owner and me and Mia looks around. She liked the paper with tigger on it and Cinderella. There was also plastic travel coffee cups all over the store. She would pick them and act like she was drinking them. Then we were off to Bean encounters.

Halloween with family...crazy doesn't even start to explain it.

This is the first picture of the night. Such a nice normal picture of me with ears. So silly. The rest of the pictures are the craziest pictures we have had yet. We had a lot of fun goofing off so enjoy. And if you are wondering this is all without alcohol.

My mom and me were cracking up a this one. Sarah is straddling the deck to look like she is off the ground. The broom is really on her side. I just remember my mom saying look towards the sky. Again thank god she didn't fall off.

We learned the Superman dance from Lindsays friend this night. This would be the knee slapping part. Lindsay was always doing the dance in the opposite direction.

Sleepy brother. We kept putting things on him, then took pictures. He doesn't know this picture exists.

End of the night. Other fun things that happened. We tried to Scare Lindsay and her friend. I had a rubber glove hand and Sarah had a parakeet bird. We went around the house to her window, Well in stead mom scared me on the way back in the house.

Lindsays friend told her the next day that "your sisters scream alot and my ears hurt." If you have ever truly heard me laugh. It is mostly a scream me and Sarah both do it. We laughed all night.

Dinner

Me and Dennis made steak Fajitas last night. One of our favorites.

We both work on them. Dennis does the cutting and I do most of the cooking. He watches everything too, like stirring and stuff. I had gotten to a point where making a meal was such a chore. So I would tell Dennis to help by cutting stuff up. Now it works great.

The other thing that I tried this time was tenderizing the meat. We usually get thin steak, but they only had sirloin. So I don't have that special crazy wooden or metal beater. So I took Dennis's hammer to my steak. It was covered in saran wrap of course. It worked great. It was the best steak I have ever had. Wow.

We had the steak fajitas with green pepper and onions cooked along with it. I made flour tortillas for me and corn tortillas for him. We have shredded cheese, tomatoes, salt and pepper, sour cream(for me) and lime. We also have mexican rice on the side with tortilla chips.

It was a good meal, especially when we make it together.

Another Greys night w/ Margaritas...Arriba...and dancing

So Sarah made Garlic chicken which was really good. It has noodles that cooked along with the chicken. very tasty. Sarah also bought bucket o margarita, yummy we almost drank the whole bucket which was a whole bottle of tequila.

So we ate the chicken drank some Margarita then my brother got home. Heres the deal with my brother. He has a girlfriend and he is not telling us who she is. We are the sisters and we have to know. So I CSI'ed his room. I took the lint roller and started rolling things in his room like his coat, his shoes, and some clothes. I came up with a long brown hair. Naughty. Ha Darryl was trying to deal with me lint rolling and Sarah trying to go through his phone. We have heard her voice to. He talked to her on the two way in front of us. He still says he doesn't have a girlfriend.
Sarah even went as far as acting like she was on the phone with one of Darryls friends. And he feel for it. He actually called his friend and asked what he told her. Well this part of the night ended with my sister grabbing a knife and not letting Darryl leave without telling us. Well he ended up leaving but I didn't want to get stabbed in the process. I mean it was in good fun. kinda.

So on to Greys. The episode was okay. I love George and Izzy's chemistry together on screen.

Funniest thing: At the end of the show. When Izzy and George were supposed to get it on and she started crying, because she was so exhausted. They agree to go to sleep and George asks "did you only shave one leg" she say yes and starts crying. Too freaking funny.

Stupidest: the wedding dress girls. Kinda retarded I can see it happening especially if your whole wedding was going to be paid for. I am sure that would of ended with a Dr. cutting the dress in half.

Cutest: When Izzy tells George shes not tough enough to be a heart surgeon. he replies by making a hard face and tells her that she is.

Enough about Greys;

So on to the rest of the night:
