Bike Riding, Bike Riding and more Bike Riding

Is this how cowboys feels. Whats that called? RAW HIDE?

So of course more bootie pain.

But we all had fun

Sunday: Me and Sarah went on a bike ride. Again sunny as can be then by the time are bikes are out and ready to go it gets all cloudy. So we go anyways. This time we went much further than before because trees were down last time and we had no choice. We did come across people on horses and a strange man. I didn't have my mase with me, damn. But he might just be a biker who knows. Note to self; Bring MASE. Well the further we went the more horrible the sky looked and we started seeing lightning and hearing thunder. So we decided to double time it back. It took about half the time it did to bike there. We put the bikes in the garage and walla downpour and wind and hail. That would of SUCKED big time if we got stuck in it.

Monday: Me Sarah and Lindsay went on a bike ride. I would ride Lindsays bike so I was able to get a nice mountain bike for $25.00 from a garage sale(thanks Jacki and Sue for looking out).
So now all three of us can bike together. So off we go to Custer Park to the playground. We had a ton of fun. I pushed Lindsay on the tire swing. We took tons of pictures. Sarah got her butt stuck going down a slide, we swung, and went on the monkey bars. We took a break under one of the platforms wear there was shade and ate our snacks that we bring in a backpack that I wear.
After all of the fun back on the bikes we go on the bike trail. Holy crap The biking didn't even fase Lindsay. She never stopped peddling nor got tires like me and Sarah. We went really far and right at the end. Lindsay takes a dive. OUCH! So sisters to the rescue. We used the last of the water to rinse off her hand and knee, both bleeding. Then Sarahs smart idea was to bring bandaids just in case anything ever happened. So I had bandaids and neosporin in the backpack and fixed her up. Well that wasn't the only thing that needed fixing. Her chain was loose and got stuck somewhere it shouldn't of been. It took alot to get it loose and back on. Me and Sarah has very greasy hands and no way to clean them, so we just wiped it with the last piece of paper towel we had. So we had a fun day together and of course Sarah fried herself because she refuses to wear sunscreen sometimes.

Tuesday: Me and Jacki didn't go on a bike ride, we went on a bike excursion. I had no idea we were going as far as we did. Now we usually would walk with the kids but they were with Gigi and Papa. So Jacki decided to bike instead. I saw the greater Channahon area alright. Wow I didn't know some of these places existed. The most fun was the huge and I mean huge hills we went down to get to the canal. We saw a doe deer on the trail. I started clapping at in and it just looked at me. When we started to walk toward it it eventually left. It was a nice trail with water and both sides for most of the ride. Other interesting things that happened. Jacki asked a boy/girl scout troop for food. No go they brought there own lunches. Jacki asked a younger guy for granola bar or cheese and he looked at us weird but went inside and brought out granola bars. Then finally back into her subdivision she asked another man for water and his kid brought us 2 bottles of water. We were so happy to finally be on her street. It was a long trek.

That was a whole bunch of bike riding all in a row. But I am happy that I am getting exercise and having fun doing it.
