Working Working Working and hey more Working

I have working a little bit of overtime to get caught up on bills.

But my days are going by pretty quickly, because I have taken on as many projects that I can. It keeps me from looking at the clock.

I am ordering containers for our offices. I have to find the right type of container then size up the racks to make sure they fit and figure out how many are needed.

I have to order new tools for the office because people are stealing them I think.

I am heading the tape storage program. All of our backups go on tapes. These tapes used to go to our warehouse in a gun safe, funny huh.
So we have a contract with a company to pick them up for us and destroy what we don't need.
I do all of the archiving of our backups in the system so it would be only right I work with this program.

We have a POS "registers" upgrade coming up, they want me to come in at 2:00am on Wends the 22nd. Sucky! ButI have so many registers that need a program added to them before the upgrade. So I will be doing that.

We have a bunch of PC's that need to be install at certain locations on the casino. They had what we call green screens, as400, dumb terminals. Alot of times you would see these at mechanic shops. either way there is a bunch of steps that are taken to switch these. I am not sure how many but at least 10.

I need to go to our warehouse and pick up 8 boxes from our safe to continue with the tape program.

Otherwise I usually take phone calls from anyone in the casino that has problems. But we have a new guy and he is doing all of that. I am supposed to be training him.

He did a big no no and started to argue with me and tell me what to do. Not good he would not get off his high horse. He got me so pissed I started shaking and needed to call Dennis just to yell. He did apologize the next day, but he was coersed. So I am letting him do his thing, because he thinks he knows everything. Whatever.

I am on day three out of seven. I am doing pretty good. The only thing that sucks is that I am used to talking to Jacki for a million hours and my sister during the day. Things will go back to normal next week.

So I am going to try to get some of this work done, Yeah!!!
